I am shocked by how much different the coupe and convertible are in that back driver's side corner. There is a whole new panel in there on the vert, not just that angled brace. The modules aren't even the same.

It was 1200 for the speaker. On sale (originally 1500). Bought it last winter from sonic electronix. The ease of installation and the ability to use the whole trunk was worth the premium to me.

I used a 1/4” hardboard to make a mounting plate for the amp on the opposite side of the speaker. The amp is a JL XD600/1 v2. There were some holes in the body that I utilized for mounting the amp board. I used some rubber expansion nuts that I shaved down to fit the body holes which when
tightened expand and will not come out. This also gave me some vibration dampening when the amp is mounted. Overall I am very happy with the installation and with the trunk open you can only see the speaker.

How is the sound quality on that Wavetech unit does it correct bass roll off?
