Or - I'll enjoy my car how I like to.

I guess I'll do what you want with my money.

I disabled Rumble in Tour mode. Set Sport mode to keep the valves fully open until 6th gear, and set Track mode to never close the valves.

This way Tour mode starts quietly like "Stealth Mode" would in the dash. Otherwise it doesn't matter if you have Tour mode set when you start the car, it still opens the valves and has a loud start.

Then Track mode still closes the valves in certain gears for whatever reason but then opens them back up in later gears. So I just set it to never close.

This is the way I think it should have been set from factory so I made it how I wanted by tuning the CCM.

Maybe I'm not calling it the right thing... So - what I'm talking about is the start-up mode where the timing is crazy retarded and it's raspy. I think HPTuners removed access a couple years ago, under the catalyst setting or something... I'm not talking burble tuning, but only the start-up.

Sorry if I didn't explain that correctly. I have my exhaust valves similar in set-up to you guys, thanks to Kings' thread many years ago.

You're talking about cat lightoff/warmup, then. Yes, it got removed after they went to v5.x I believe. Mine's off, but honestly, I'm probably going to turn it back on. Garage can get awfully stinky in the first minute...

You are correct. I had mentioned that in my comment. You need to mode selector to get it back.

You guys need to read your owners manual lol
The owners manual says nothing about the drive mode selector changing the throttle response, not does it give detail on what the PTM modes actually do.

See the link below for an actual break down of what all the modes do.

As stated above, only engine sound management, power steering calibration and magnetic ride control can be individually configured (aka "locked") in drive mode setings.
This link gives a much better in depth break down of all the modes.

The "high performance" owners manual that also came with your ZL1 has nothing in there about PTM modes, or what they actually do? Did you read yours?

Cat Warmup mode is no longer available in HPTuners unless you expose the options via user defined parameters.

It might not be CAT warm up. But, I know when I licensed my CCM, HP Tuners gave me a new group I didn't have before, "Exhaust". If I remember, I had to go to tools or help menu while connected to my car OBDII port and license, but also had to download parameters or something like that.

How the hell do you know how to do all of that but missed the "settings>vehicle" section on your supercar?!
