I used Lethal Garage vid as he “may” have lifted his Camaro up once or twice. YMMV. My 4 post lift has pads attachment that were 1” or so larger in diameter than the rubber pinch weld hockey pucks I bought. I used an exacto knife and scored and (eventually) cut 1/4” off the plastic body piece in an arc so my post pads weren’t putting pressure on the plastic rockers beside the 4 pinch weld locations. I stayed 1/8th inch away from the plastic RF welds that join the two layer of plastic together. Here’s Lethal Garage vid link and a pic of the first relief cut (showing a slight arc) cut into the plastic. I have since enlarged it another 1/8th inch but didn’t take a pic. You can NOT see the rubber hockey puck above the circular pad. I need to hunt down lift attachments with pinch weld rubber built in but not in any hurry. I saw a lot of bad advice on spots when googling so beware. Also visible is a bit of the 4 layers of elec tape I put on inside fender lip because my rock guards were late and I had a long drive back from the dealer.
