A Camaro that meets my needs rather than some GM bean-counter’s parts-bin CE dream makes more sense to me. So, I’m ordering my own interpretation of the G56, for probably $40-50K less than the real one will cost: 2SS in Riptide Blue Metallic, 1LE suspension package with magnetic ride (not the full 1LE package), manual trans, copper big-brakes, performance exhaust and a few other goodies.

I agree with you guys about the extra $15K plus dealer markup being crazy. Not to mention black being a pain to keep clean looking. I am waiting for the market to get saturated with 23's from guys dumping theirs to get a 24's and snag one. Only problem is I think they will let the dealer benefit from their loss and not sell private. Dave Ramsey the financial guy was just talking about this.
