I didn't even use a pump. I used one of the caps, from another bottle of fluid, that has the funky graduated end, where you can trim it to a certain OD, and a small barb to slip a piece of hose over, and just squeezed the fluid out of the bottles. It took having 3-bottles to do (I had a partial left-over from the first flush/replacement around 1000-miles), but it did the job. It took longer, but I just started at everything underneath, so I didn't mind much. Fluid pumps are such a PITA to use. I admit their ultimate utility, but unless you're a mechanic, I'm not sure it's worth the mess, clean-up, etc. JMHO.

Correct Fluid?

I have the 10-4034 coming but noticed it does not have GL-5 on the label is this the correct gear oil?

Very very true. Mine was totally level OCD. The above pic looks like it is level-ish due to the slant of the driveway

I used one the last time I did it.






It worked, but the bottle top pumps make less of a mess.

I just ordered the Slipper Pete fluid pump for wide mouth bottles, pumps 30cc per stroke, can empty the quart bottle in 32 pumps.

buy a qt of Valvoline flex fill, empty it and use that to fill the the diff with the ac Delco oil
