If I recall correctly, there was a fair amount of sealant present on the tranny bolts from the factory. I didn't use any sealant, just snugged up the bolts. No leakage that I have seen.

When I changed mine I ended up going with the fluid TREMEC makes for their manual transmissions. It’s a pain in the ass to refill. I recommend getting a fluid exchanger or a suction pump gun

Your trans will take approx 3.84 liters you’ll need to buy 4qts you will use just under 4. Add fluid until it comes out of the side plug and then cap it.

TREMEC won't have fluid for a while. The facility they used had a catastrophic fire. They are recommending Pennzoil Synchromax in the interim.

We use one for gearbox and one for diff. Take off the nozzle and add your flex line, pump and dump.
