Gen 6 Camaros were sold in Europe in RS and SS spec through GM dealers with a full warranty ( although the SS badges were removed in Europe) uptil August 2019, with minor changes for the EU: Larger manually folding mirrors with integrated turn signals, integrated reversing and fog light in the lower rear valance, lower DRL delete and side marker delete being the main ones.
In August 2019, with the new Euro6 emission laws, a new exhaust system would be required and GM decided that it wasn't feasible, so all the remaining Gen 6's in the UK had to be pre-registered. Although the take up in the UK (being RHD) was way smaller than Europe - less than 100 in the UK, whereas a few thousand in Europe.
However with the ZL1, even after importing it, you have to make them UK legal - so they require a rear foglight, side flashers, amber rear flashers etc. The Dive planes would have been a problem with EU pedestrian safety , if GM had officially imported it. However, with personal imports as long as the car passes 'at the time of the test' everything is good
