Running track alignment. Fronts, I have corded one set on the outer and one set on the inner (no change in alignment spec, same 2 tracks). They just do not wear the same as other tires I have used on the ZLE or the Z/28 I tracked in the past. Rears have been decent wear across the tire. The 3R just not stand up to as much punishment on the fronts as other comparable tires.

I am using the track alignment settings (obviously the front struts moved to track position). I rotate left/right after day1 at track and get extremely good/even wear all around. (I do measure each tire from new to current with a decent Longacre Depth Gauge, and so far very happy). I like these 3Rs like SportCups I've had before. (OK I guess 9/10ths as much). Start at 29 cold reaching 35/36max hot.

Do you guys know if you can flip the EF1's? I'm on street setting currently, so outsides are wearing quicker but inner half still looks good. If I can flip the tire around, I can get probably two more track days.

Agree I’ve done back to back and the cup 2’s are not as good. I’m running g cup 2’s right now due to availability of the Goodyear’s.

I would first look at your toe settings in the front to see if they are still good. Some tips to improve front tire life would be to try taking different lines on the corners that are putting a lot of load in the front tires. "Square" off some of these corners if possible, it might even be a faster line than you are currently taking with the car. Quote:

It was way easier to switch my tire to the NT-01r than change my driving style, lol

Yes you can flip them, I flipped my SC3Rs and it really helped extend life. Having a tire shop at the track makes this much easier.
