Wow I’ve never heard this in all my time spent on the forums or at the track but it does make sense...

Honestly, when I have my nannies on, my car surges because it's fighting TC the whole time. It's weird, so I just leave everything off.

I think it has more to do with the speed differential between the front and rear tires than the overall size of the tire/wheel.

In this case since the rear tires are taller the front tires are spinning faster than the rear. Falsely telling the computer there is some sort of traction loss.

Aids like TC and such were designed for slick situations related to weather and not really intended for wide-open throttle bursts. There is a good chance your engine will survive, but why chance it?

Out of curiosity...are you turning all the nannies off out of Sport mode and double tapping or holding down TC or are you able to do it through Track..race or sport 2?

I do leave it in sport and double tap. When I left it in Track Mode, that was when I was having all of the code's popping up. So, I just leave it in Sport, double tap, and I'm off.

Way of life, the 35s are too tall respective of the front tire diameter. Get used to the light and Chevy Messaging you about the "problem". LOL.

Ran my MT 305/35/20 DRs last night with stock front tires. TRACK RACE mode. Tap TC twice for burnout using line loc then tap it once then hold TC for 7 sec to disable LC. No codes. Ran 11.609 @ 120.73 mph with DA of 3410

What is Traction control affecting when it's activated that it would harm a boosted engine?
