Pray Performance has a P1x car putting down over 660whp and ran 10.0 @ 138. A D1SC will damn sure make more then 520whp or something is wrong. That Blower should make 600+ on 9-10psi. I could see the base P1SC only making 520whp on 7psi. But then again Dyno numbers are meaningless without a baseline. They all read different...

Im confused because we have a member running a P1X on stock LT1 fuel system, 93 octane, no meth injection, 10psi of boost and hitting 600whp with no problems at all. but if you leave this thread and go up to the one where the guy just installed a P1SC at 7psi on pump gas he is saying his tuner showed almost out of fuel.
I think at this point I am going to just go LT4 fuel system, cam with +32% lobe, meth injection, and turn the boost up to about 10 to 12psi or so and stick with pump gas only (we only have 91 on tap here) Anyone have a ballpark on what a D1SC stage 2 should be throwing down to the back wheels if throw on a bone stock LT1 with no mods at all? |

All comes down to how much boost, that can changed with pulley size . But your man factor is going to be fuel!!! And all these cars are different with when the stock fuel system gets to its limit. From everything I have seen and read ,about 540 -600 rwhp on a stock LT1 fuel system regardless the size of the blower , some tuners may take the fuel system to the edge for 600 some may want to leave a safety net and make 540 , if your looking for an exact anwser there isnt one , if your fuel system will only supply enough fuel for 550 hp then you could have a maggie stacked on top of a whipple stacked on top of all the different size prochargers and your only getting 550

Measuring different cars with different setups in different dynos and zones is wayyyy misleading....
a dyno is just a tool, just that. Do a baseline and the compare from that base the gains and this is what really matters. Without a base, you will never know about gains... Also make sure it's on the same gear and don't go jumping from dyno to dyno trying to find a "number". Last don't go comparing track times, because this is also affected by zone, track conditioning, vehicle setup and driving abilities... |

To confirm, are you saying if we took 3 OEM factory stock cars, bolted on 3 cookie cutter Procharger kits with exact same pulley on all 3, used the same location, same dyno, and same person tuning all 3 on the very same day, and each car will run out of fuel to deliver at a different amount of power or rwhp, and not just 1 or 2, but possibly by a substantial number?

I learned back in my days of slot car racing that you could take a stack of 100 armatures, meter read them, and try different ones in the exact same motor can, magnets, air gap, gearing, and weight car and some would be rockets and some would not be. Some would draw more amps, some would pull hardly any at all. I just don't see where the drastic differences come into play on some of these readings on these cars I am reading about. I keep going back to when Procharger told me about having two Camaros with the exact same mods, same tuner, same dyno, and one stopped producing fuel almost 130-150whp before the other did. They later confirmed after they replaced the hpfp on the low number car it improved, but never got a number as to how much. If it wasn't for reading that, I could see where the cars could all be putting down the same power physically to the wheels before the fuel system cannot handle it anymore, and the variables being the resistance and readings on the dyno, the tune itself, the weather conditions and elevation. It's just the stories of where cars are at the same place on the same dyno and everything is consistent and get way further results that I am scratching my head over. Lol |

I believe it's the HPFP. There was a thread going a while back talking about the inconsistency from one to the other.
