Carbon fiber is not available on the Rav 4. Are you sure you aren't confusing actual carbon fiber with the textured plastic some sporty cars have which is intended to look like Carbon Fiber (interior of the Scion FRS comes to mind).

Much of the time, the "weave" carbon fiber is just there for cosmetic purposes. Unidirectional is stronger and layers of that is what most carbon fiber structures are. In a lot of products, they "finish off" the top layer with the weave, so you can think you are cool.
