You have to be employed by a company that participates in the program. My employer does. So I used my code to by my car in April. Gave me about $2500 off. Once the individual uses their code, in this case me, I have 1 year from date of purchase to share my code with someone else.

Depends on the dealer, I believe they're not forced to honor it.

I used the Educator Discount Code for mine which is the same discount as the Supplier discount. I don''t know why any dealer wouldn't accept these. It's a win / win for both the customer and the dealership.

Can anyone explain why a dealer wouldn't honor the supplier discount? Their hold back is less than $2500, so I assume they are reimbursed from GM, right?
