i've noticed that mine do not return exactly where they should. Like they are angled down ever so slightly from where they were. I don't use them anymore.

Stupid question:

Is a backup camera not standard?

No, I get that. It's for clearance. So, you can use the tilted mirrors and your backup camera together to sort of cover all areas, no?

Just thought I missed something.

My GT had static mirrors and no backup camera, and I sort of managed. Just have to be careful.

My F150 has the camera and no mirrors, and still haven't really had an issue.

So, this should be a breeze.

Try changing the tilt while in reverse and see if it goes back to the position you chose.

I just set mine today. I didn't know I could do it. And also set the auto seat movement when I get out of the car. I love it. What a great car.

Do this:
Let's say that you have one key fob that you use and you keep the other stored for backup. Identify the assigned number of the key fob that you use (#1 or #2). For this example, let's say you are using #2.
In SETTINGS - VEHICLE - COMFORT & CONVENIENCE, turn EASY EXIT and AUTO MEMORY RECALL - OFF. Also turn off the tilt mirror in reverse function.
Now set the driver's seat to your exit position. Press Set, keep holding, 1 beep, keep holding, press EXIT, 2 beeps, let go of both buttons.
Adjust your driver's seat and mirrors to your normal driving position. Repeat the procedure with SET and button 2.
Adjust only the mirror or mirrors to tilt down to your prefferred angle then repeat the procedure and Set button 1.
Finally, Turn on Easy Exit and Auto Memory recall - NOT the tilt mirror thing.

Now Driving position on start and easy exit on engine off and door open should work automatically. When reversing, press (manually) and hold button #1 to tilt the mirrors to your specs.
That is how my Z is setup.
