I thought long and hard about installing a Procharger. It was high on my list, given my experience with turbochargers and the similarities between the two.
But after riding around in two different setups, I decided against it. The clattering/whining coming from under the hood (don't know which type) is just not what I wanted on this vehicle. The noise turned me off. Nothing wrong with the Procharger system itself, but I wanted a "silent but deadly" approach this go around. Most people will say I'm too picky about this, but as I age, my level of noise intolerance is increasing rapidly. |

But yes, that isn't very quiet, but it doesn't have the chatter I keep hearing about i believe. I've seen some helical vids on youtube where it literally sounds like a small vacuum barely. But it is what it is I guess, no way to muffle it as far as I've seen

And that is exactly the chatter i paid to not have. Just a preference thing for me. I remember hearing that years back and just stuck with me.
