If you can live with the drone at 2K Magnaflow makes a good noise.

I ordered NPP for my SS. Factory sounds pretty dam good and to be able to punch a button and quiet it down when pulling up to the country club...Thumbs UP

I would have to agree that the prices for exhausts are outrageous, but then again so are all of the aftermarket parts for this specific car (compared to similar sports cars).

The stock NPP however was not doing it for me at all. I went with the Borla S-type and it sounds awesome. None of any of the videos do it any justice, but if you watch some of the higher quality ones on a decent set of speakers with a sub woofer it sounds a little better. Even still, nothing better than both hearing and feeling it in person.

I love how my Borla sounds and feels over stock.

This is one of the better sound clips I've taken of mine because it was taken in 4k high def and mounted right next to the pipe, it's pretty decent on a good speaker, but again, nothing like hearing it in person.

But in person you can TOTALLY hear(and feel) the difference.

Same goes for the exhaust, hear and feel the difference for yourself. Find a local camaro meet and ask around.

Borla was by far my favorite and the true ZERO drone it is simply amazing.

Good luck!
I hear ya and I agree. I'm more so saying that I'm disappointed in the pricing for a couple of mufflers and not feeling a burning need to drop a couple grand when the NPP is starting from a good place for a stock exhaust. Videos are good for at least a relative comparison of crappy sound clips.

Corsa has the most refined sound imo but you would give up dual mode. Worth it to me but I could see why others would not want to do that.

If you wanted to keep NPP I think the Borla Atak is very simlar in tone and pitch. Corsa has a higher tone and RCS technology so has no drone either, had them on a previous car and loved them!

I was torn between Borla ATAK and Hooker Blackheart and decided on the latter. I really think the Hooker exhaust sounds deep and gets rid of the suitcase down there. I am still waiting for it to get shipped sigh....

Let us know how it sounds and whether or not it drones. Magnaflow & SW both have a nice deep sound but they drone horribly.

The dual or single transverse? Is the dual louder than the transverse?
