Depends how sensitive you are to drone, I heard the Outlaws in person.. sounds mean as shit but it will drone. My shop just charged me $100 installed for the j-pipes. Most shops charge $100- $140 for them.

Can't wait to see how u like them.. mine puts a smile on my face everytime I start her up

Wish I caught this thread earlier, I hope there's no drone with this system. I made the mistake of getting the Magnaflow, it sounded awesome from outside of the car, but on the inside the drone and vibration was unbearable. I took it of immediately and bought the Borla Stype (after researching on the forum). Best money I ever spent. They are expensive but you get what you pay for, they sound great, they have no drone, and there's a huge difference with NPP valves opened vs closed.

Let us know how it went with the install!

Here's how my Stype set up sounds:

OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG look what just arrived!

NOTE: THESE WERE NOT SENT DIRECTLY FROM FLOWMASTER, I BOUGHT THESE FROM A THIRD PARTY

That being said..there are 3 things I'm not too happy with...first , one of the tips what literally protruding from the box , luckily there was no damage whatsoever second, on the back of one of the mufflers, it looks like it was hit with something. It's scratched with a dent, as long as it doesn't cause any problems, Im okay with it, I'll never see it anyway. And last, on the same one, the tip that connects to the rest of the exhaust, is also bent a little. Again it looks like it can be easIly straightened out so no biggie. I'm just happy it arrived cause after I bought it, I looked up the shop and they have terrible reviews lol all in all I canthink wait to get it installed

I was here tho...

Eitherway, I'm hoping for the best outcome for you, bro. Like I've mentioned, I love my Borla ATAk, but have been curious to see how it compares to a Flowmaster. Is it getting installed today?

Mind if I ask what the warranty issue was? Did one of the baffles come loose? I had that happen to my 92 Camaro's Flowmaster set up once, and heard that that has been a problem in the past, I'm hoping for other people's sake that has been resolved.

Yes you were, and you always contribute to anything I post. I really appreciate you bro
He said he had the same exhaust so it would have been nice to hear his input before I purchased lol and it's gonna have to be on Saturday, I'llp be pretty busy the next couple days

This might sound silly, but what are j-pipes? or is it just a different name for x-pipes?

No, they are not x pipes, they are a custom add on to try to knock down some of the drone, usually you cut into the stock pipe just before the muffler and put them in. I'll find the thread & pics on this...
