I'd rather go with the a pillar option. I personally wouldn't want to lose my air vent

I'm in Tim. I will pm you later on tomorrow for further details. I just ordered a dual billet gauge pod for both your NGauge and your wideband gauge. Gauges scare the opposition so this pod will be VERY NEATLY mounted in the glove box. Stealth is king in this situation...

That and for me personally the vent location is just too low from a line of sight perspective. I will probably end up getting the Aeroforce pod once I get through the testing phase.

You don't lose it completely. The pods only covers the rear half of the vent. If you lived in a climate where you need it you could partially restrict the right side also to equalize the airflow.

Testing is progressing very nicely on the nGauge.

One note for those with the A8... TCM flashing support is currently not implemented but is planned. If you desired TCM flashing capability I would opt for HP Tuners at this point in time.

Tuning aside the customizable gauge functionality is really sweet. AEM 30-0333 WB integration is coming as well.

Just thinking. Could you have a tune stored in the nGauge that simulates the throttle controller changes? One stored tune would normal throttle and another one that simulates the vittese sp5 like setting?
Another scenario would be a tune for non-cutout mode and cut out mode? (I'm assuming there is a need between the two.)

Yes. You can store multiple tunes and flash them at any time.

I don't think cutouts will warrant a tune swap but yes absolutely doable.

Guys I took some measurements and the Aero pods aren't going to work with the nGauge. The face of the gauge is too large and will hit the dash.

JDP's vent mount will probably be the best/cleanest approach. I'll check with them tomorrow to see when they will be available.
