Watching you guys do your thing makes me think too much. I like what EVERYONE is doing.

I love cars and I love power. These forums are just a wealth of knowledge. Even better, if you ask a question correctly all the smart mofos provide the greatest information.

But then there is a question of whether the NA engine will be as street-able/reliable vs a SC engine when you start to wring out rwhp above 500 HP, unless going the stroker motor route.

The January issue of Super Chevy magazine has an article on an LT1 build into a 416 cubic inch stroker meant for road course use. They say that power went from 435rwhp stock to 539rwhp built, retaining the stock intake manifold and throttle body. Then they added an MSD intake manifold and a Katech 103mm throttle body and peak power climbed again, to 577rwhp. We all know that dyno numbers by themselves don't mean much, so in conclusion the initial build gained 104hp and the intake manifold/throttle body swap added another 38hp on top of that.

Here is a link to the article:http://www.superchevy.com/how-to/eng...-gen-6-camaro/

However, not sure I would want such an aggressive cam.

It would have crossed the 600rwhp mark had they ported the heads.. This is when you really wanna port the heads, to compliment the added cubes..

I agree here, the stock head flat lines at .525, or even stalls in flow, I think port work at 577 HP is needed. Heck the Edeblrock Victor head would probably be the ticket.
