Looks great how much time and difficulty was involved in the install?

I used univeral autometer gauge holders and screwed them to the a pillar. I got pretty lucky airbags didn't pop in my face lmao... I'm use to cars that don't have a pillar airbags and never even though to check if there were some there. I guess if I ever get in a wreck I'll have my boost and afr indented in my forehead...

There's no bag in there any way but the connections etc are. Screw in might work if it looks good.

The install is fairly easy. All you have to do is remove the vent. use the panel plastic tools and lift the front of the vent up then pull it out.
Here is my dual pod.

That looks way better than I would have expected. Thanks for sharing the pics.
Is that the pod for the 2015 Camaro? I didn't see one for the 6th Gen on their site.

Any tips on installation? Can you simply pull the vent out and drop the wires down through or do you have to remove the side panel to access the backside of the defroster vent to push it out?

Looks like it should pull right out but short of grabbing it with a pliers and destroying it there is no way to grab it well enough. Maybe thread a strap through to tug with??

Wow. I managed to lever a bit against the lower louver to open up the bottom enough to slip in another sharpened plastic pry tool. Then I even wrapped some velcro around the upper louver to pull with and failed prying and pulling together. That sucker is in there!

EDIT: Got it! Don't think it would have been possible in my case without the velcro strap wrapped around it, but I finally gave in to the fact that it was coming out in one piece or multiple pieces and pulled. POP! My left hand felt like it went through the roof but it's out.

Lining up the new one just right into the defroster duct was a bit of a trick too but it's in there. Now to wire it all up!

Looks like Block8head's tucks up tighter to the gauge cluster which looks a bit better to me. These are all hand made from an original defroster vent. You couldn't pay me ~$100 to make one (plus vent and some profit).

LOL, you right. In order to keep it functional and intergrate with the OEM. They should have charge you more money since the cost of OEM parts, materials and labor to make them. I know the guy that manufacture these are real car enthusiastic. He want to keep the price affordable so everyone can enjoy it.

Looks tits man!
