So i'll keep this simple if you don't have anything constructive to say maybe not post stupid shit about how awesome you are and how you dislike peoples interest. I'm sure your a great thread troll when you want to be but we don't need no trolls over here, you have an ATS great I have respect for that and that you actually drive it is awesome but not your whining about what people are curious about. It isn't going to win you any compliments from here on out.
I can assure you he is no troll. It is his opinion that that he doesn't like the noisemakers, and he has a right to that opinion. I'm generally of the same opinion as Dale. I prefer mods that lower ET or gain HP. If you wanna blow a kazoo out of your ass, then that's your prerogative, but I'll tell you that that is silly too. Relax man, you're gonna blow a gasket.

Do believe this thread is about an intake. Not mufflers.

Which is an intake not mufflers. you and your buddy tommy are more then welcome to share info. and your opinions but I wasn't wrong in how you approached your initial post and i'll stand by my statement some things are better left unsaid. It's your right to have an opinion but you should also know when to keep it to yourself aswell. My opinion is your a good guy that has his purest tastes and that's awesome and respectable but not at the expense of smart ass opinions on a thread that was requested by other members.

OBTW - That's about 6 mph faster than Arron Pfadt's ATS in stock trim. He did run 162 after a turbo and custom exhaust change.
A little outta the way for me lol... We do have a half mile event near myself called 'Attack the strip'; it's run yearly and sees some pretty awesome cars and bikes participate, it's 'Canada's fastest event' so they say... If registration isn't full already (it's very popular) I'll run the stock 2.0 RS and she how she does next year against the big boys

I'm also in the crowd that likes the hissing, snorting, popping and other general turbo noises... Although I wouldn't mod JUST to get more of these noises, I would consider it a happy side effect extra of intake and exhaust tuning on these engines

I had turbo cars in the past and I'll be honest, that whoosssh-psshh sound does sound awesome and chics love it. Yes I know the kids/import crowd started to phase it out :/

I would keep the muffler stock tho.

Exactly, you have a preference and an opinion but didn't go off the rails on those who have other tastes. Seems to be an issue with the ATS crowd.

What i'd like to know is where were all you ATS guys with the 3.6 LLT oh that's right you were nowhere because you don't have an aftermarket outside of a turbo car. Having a car engine 2 to 3 years longer doesn't make you guys experts. You had the LLT for that same time and nothing. Again you want to go back to regular scheduled programming shut-up and be constructive not an opinionated jackoff who acts like some of those tree humping prius drivers. Richard0nee drives a damn SS and his post while making an opinion didn't come off like any of yours. Likely because he read the first post and knows it was for the benefit to those who wanted to hear it.

I can respect that reply and viewpoint 100% I went with the aftermarket muffler because the stock one was to quite for my driving habits tickets end up being far more expensive then the exhaust was.

Man, I don't think you realize how much of a d-bag you come off as. Someone had a differing opinion than you, on the internet, OMG. Get over yourself.

As far as the LLT goes, I don't have a car equipped with one, and either does oemtech. So why would we care about that engine? That has nothing to do with anything being discussed here. Dale has a great depth of experience with the LTG, which is something you could benefit from if you weren't such a jerk off. It would clearly, by your own post history, behoove you to shut up and read as you have NO CLUE how a turbo even works.

Please, tell me again how your CAI made more boost. I haven't laughed that hard in a while.

don't think that was an LLT could be mistaken think that was classified as the LF3 engine. Either way i'd agree with you that was one hell of a car the ATS-V.

Now drop the LF4 in a Camaro and you will make some steam.
I'm not disagreeing with you the LF3 or LF4 should've been an option for the V6 Camaro but Chevrolet is still trying to protect it's V8 power off the showroom floor.

I got the same intake in my I4, makes hell of a blow of noise! I still don't know if I like it, but it is a lot of fun just hearing the turbo spool up, and then blow off I have gotten a lot of comments about the noise they think that the car is completely suited up or something! Definitely have seen a power upgrade not much but it is noticeable!
