IMO, that's too much for the stock rear bar in F-Street trim, even on the softest setting. The Strano bar is 1.25" x .188w, which effectively softens each setting by the equivalent of one hole. I run mine on soft, and the car works very well. |

Very cool thread guys. Makes me wish I had a 6gen so I could set a car up for autocross.

The front camber is that with crash bolts or just what they can get out of the car factory? I wonder if they will have crash bolts for it.

This is all making me think the 1LE is definitely not going to be in f street anymore.
Meaning I'm gonna have to find my own combination of this as well when the time comes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

IF the 1LE does somehow get classed as FS.... would those of us with the 2016 be able to run the 1LE wheel sizes?

I could see the 1LE SS being a good BS option. Or even CAM-C. CAM has some wild rules so pretty much anything goes. STP could also be a place to play although you would have to downsize tires. I believe 285 is the current max allowed in STP. STP was rather low on numbers so hopefully the STAC makes some changes to get numbers up. |

Thats a hell of a lot of work and expense just to keep the car in a street class, likely to be AS, where it will have an uphill battle against the C5 and C6 Z06 Vettes which dominate there due to their higher HP and a lot less weight. If it gets classed in BS it "should" have an easier time against the C4 and C5 non Z06 Vettes although they will still have a significant weight advantage. Bottom line although I think the 6th Gen 1SS 1LE will be the performance bargain of the century and I would love to have one, I think it may end up being uncompetitive in any of the SCCA Street classes and we are unlikely to see any 6th Gen 1LE winning a Nationals event in Street. However it could be a phenomenal inexpensive CAM car. (if there is such a thing) In the end if your goal is to get a car to be competitive in SCCA Street classes I think the regular SS's will be the car to get and run in F-Street.

SS to SS/1LE would only be an option package conversion for a 2017 SS, which is Street Category legal preparation.
Fitting the 1LE pieces to a 2016 SS is what would constitute update/backdate. On edit, I suppose that means if you did convert a 2017 SS to 1LE spec, you'd then end up in whatever Street class a production 1LE gets put in. Norm

Well, here's a good idea.
TL;DR: 2.0T with brakes, intake, exhaust and most of the handling goodies. |
