I know some folks are disappointed in the Mag Ride suspension going on the 1LE, but I'm telling you it's awesome for a DD. I keep my ZL1 in tour mode, which is actually pretty plush. Switch it to track mode and the suspension tightens up massively. It's really a huge difference and I think an amazing piece of technology. With a single button press you go from a very comfortable highway car to a track machine. The 1LE is going to be a great machine and I wouldn't worry at all about DD the car.

Agreed, mag ride really is the have your cake and eat it too option. Stiffer sway bars do increase your effective spring rate so I would expect it to ride a little harder than an SS sans 1LE but how much remains to be seen. I'm thinking its going to be pretty darn civil but of course the proofs in the pudding.

The only real disadvantage to daily driving the 1LE is wearing out the tires. If the GEN6 1LE uses the same Goodyear supercar tires then you are lucky if you get 12k miles out of them. My 1LE is firm but as long as I am not driving over cracked up pavement it is fine.
