And the 1LE is an option. If it doesn't work for you, don't check that box.

We will see what happens soon enough. I would have waited for the 17 since it's the 50th, but my old lease was up. Looking forward to seeing what they offer there.

Except GM itself recommends the manual Corvette for anyone who wants to track their car seriously.

For now. There will come a day when the auto will be just as good, if not better than the stick. That is the inevitable march of progress. All the exotics are losing their stick options, that will trickle down, especially as CAFE gets more tenuous.

People: Please don't turn this into ANOTHER manual vs automatic thread!
This is about the 1LE, not transmission preference... |

How many exotics are running torque converter automatics? Most, if not all, are running dual clutch transmissions.

Is chevy running Recaros in anything? (serious question, I cant recall) I think theyre just left in the Caddy's now, I would bet theyre going to follow the Stingray process and use an in-house performance seat

Hey
The z28 is a good car but it doesn't sell like ss cause its so bare bones and such a small segment of the car buying public really track their car...

The Z/28 was never intended to sell as much as the SS. The Z/28 is sitting because GM built too many.

If it's an option, fine, but it would add too much cost as a standard feature.
No, it didn't sell like the SS did because it was twice the price...but it wasn't meant to. It's a niche car. |
