I have only recently discovered the forum, not usually a massive forum guy. Too many misinformation with very little good info. So far, I am enjoying the forums though, there are quite a lot of legit info people around.

Also, I believe I have placed my order on the first day or two that order banks were opened. Either way, with deposit and everything, order was submitted on July 17th via Huffiness Chevy @ Lewisville, TX.

Seems that the Garnet Red were some of the first to hit 3400 and now 3800

Not in the system as built. Does not mean it is not built. These event codes are not automatic (at least as far as I have learned) and because of that there are anomalies.

That is one of the frustrations of following status changes, which exist for internal GM use and seem to meet the GM internal needs. If they did not, the tracking process from order entry to delivery, including assembly, would be changed. It has been this way for over ten years per my personal experience, it has only been the last five or six years that Becky and others have been accessing it for buyers not their own customers.

I'll tell you what, if my sales guy had browsed this forum prior to meeting me, it wouldn't have been me telling him whats new on the vehicle. Poor guy didn't even know it had an LT1 or that RS wasn't available on the SS models.

He did do as much research as he could on the GM fleet order site that night, and was a bit more informed the next day, but still there were things I was teaching him.

I get it, nothing meant by it, just seemed a little out of place, especially since we had someone here have a TPW of 10/5 for a long time, and his is still not even built! Glad you found us!

So from what I learned about my camaro when it was built they do not seperate the design of the camaro with the production number. Even tho my 2011 vert was one of the first off the assembly line it was still number 152,893... I wasnt very pleased that I was not able to see how many verts were actually made before mine...

I am dealing with the new car sales manager, when I first went in to preorder and the initial ordering specs came out, he insisted that the Goodyears on the SS were only sold in the summer, since it said "summer only" next to them...had to explain to him that it meant they are summer only tires, not all season! lol.

Yeah, I remember that, your story is one I often tell. Didn't he still insist they were summer ordering only, even after you informed him they were summer tires?

Hey Becky, not to get

, but... have you expressed your understanding when it comes to LPO wheels and if the customer gets two set of complete wheels at delivery time? I know that we're still waiting on official clarification from GM on this issue, but any past experiences or speculation on your part would be appreciated!

Yeah that's him! lol...I try not to deal with all that often, just aggravates me!

Official clarification hasn't come out...

( it would be my assumption..to intall tires from standard wheels
on LPO wheels, and standard wheels, minus tires, to customer)
