It one dumb feature I wish wasn't standard on the 2ss would have saved us 500 to a 1,000 on the price that we don't need.

Sorry but, Studies have shown that hands free is just as distracting as hand held. It has to do with the disconnect necessary for the brain to process the conversation/text and respond. Check it out. it's really the cognitive distraction of talking on the phone that causes the risk. Google it.

We have all been behind the drivers crossing the yellow etc even hands free. They are just in a zone. If one drives like that at night they are pulled over for DUI check.

HUD seems like more of a safety feature to me. One can keep their eyes on the road more.

I just wanted to clarify that the system physically won't let me is what I meant.

All good, my post was more for those that think hands free call or text are safe. I myself have stopped such unless stopped or on back roads with little or no traffic. I started this after I took an unexpected hands free call for a job I was on. I missed my exit due to the concentration on the conversation.

Yeah, while the camera may be referred to as safety equipment, I've never seen anything on the camera that I didn't know was already there.

It's great for getting real close when backing into parking spots, though.
