Someone mentioned cam/headers earlier. One of the great characteristics of the SS 1LE is that it has a naturally-aspirated engine; don't screw with that! ...If I had a 1LE, that's what I'd do (again).
Let's be real though. Anyone taking this car with or without forced induction to the limit, isn't asking basic questions on a forum.

Not necessarily. Many people here will be visiting a local track...hopefully they get better and faster with practice.

IMO, if you're going to continue doing track events, learn the car first. From the looks of the videos, you're NOWHERE near pushing the car or finding the limits of its mechanical grip.

I look forward to boosting mine. Research as much as you can and determine if works for you. For instance - questions/answers that pointed me to boost

1. Is having a warranty something you can live without. Yes
2. Do you have multiple vehicles just in case your is down for a while. Yes
3. Can you accept worst case scenarios if they were to happen. Yes
4. Do you want to burn the tires off your car. Yes

All equals BOOST!!!
But it really comes down to what your personal preferences are. Clearly the vendors aren't seeing a shortage of people ordering boost or any other mods for their cars.

My recommendation would be to get as good as you can get with the car in its stock form, and then if you want to go faster then look into power adders. I have no idea what your experience level is but if you aren't already very experienced I would hold off on power upgrades until you get some more seat time. With just a little bit of instruction you can be faster than almost everyone else at a track day event with a bone stock 1LE. In other words tighten the nut behind the wheel first.

If your goal isn't Track days and learning to drive fast then disregard the above, its your car have fun.
