I thought about debadging the car but the black bowtie was an extra cost so I figured may as well keep it otherwise it's a waste. Plus it looks perfect the way it is

This happens ? People auctually weave through traffic trying to figure out what your ride is because you took off the bowtie?

I was gassing up when a couple of MILFs pulled up and said "nice beemer!" Oh wait, BMWs aren't exotic. I was actually quite offended and told them "it ain't a beemer ladies. Way bigger balls than a beemer!" Then they said "oh, mustang!?!?"

I once parked in the rear of a parking lot to meet a friend attending a Jeep-only cruise in. I did so to not detract from the theme of the charity event....mission failed! Returned to my car to find preteen kids swarming it.
One decided to speak out:

"Is this the Exorcist?"

People are really silly, I have a co-worker that wears a different bow tie everyday so when I blacked out my bow ties on my car I came in and told him that I got new bowties for my car he was like huh ? I said its a chevrolet I got new bow ties go see them needless to say he was all kinds of confused comes back and says isnt that a dodge ? I had to explain in depth why its called a bowtie and how its chevrolets badge etc..

Kinda mad me face palm a bit

This reminded me of the first day I revealed the car to my old Infiniti and Nissan mates at the local cars and coffee meet. I parked away from the crew because I couldn't find that. Showed them the new wheels and next thing you know the whole crew (15 something) started crowding around playing 21 questions with me. And then the constant stream of folks from other groups passing by because it's not the usual Mustangs showing up for once. I'm not use to this attention

So much truth behind this. The high and lazy generation.. Despite me falling into that age group, screw them, I got better things to do

I had one of the neighborhood kids come to a skidding halt on his bike and stare at my car then ask me "is that bumblebee's brother???"

i thought it was cool as hell and told him "yes it is!" and off he rode excited as could be.

Not just the generation. My ex,43, was talking crap about me to the kids saying "well he can afford a corvette..." soon after I bought mine. But then she's always been an idiot so...

Was on my way to friend's house couple of weeks ago and two kids (about 11-ish) were playing catch with their baseball and gloves. As I drove up on the yard they both stopped and the baseball just fell out the one kid's glove and they both had their little jaws scraping the floor as we drove on. It was cool and we got a really good laugh out of it
