The awkward moment when my camaro was mistaken for an exotic

Had a nice chuckle over this.

Was over at Burger King with the lady grabbing a bite to eat. I parked near the window because I like to keep a close eye on my baby since I'm still going through that over-protective phase. I noticed a little kid was jumping up and down from outside keep pointing at my car as they walked by. As they came inside and sat at the table behind us after getting their food I heard "MOMMY MOMMY I WANT THAT LAMBORGHINI. I WANT BLUE GLITTER LAMBORGHINI".

I'm not sure what world that kid was living in but I had a nice chuckle out of it.

Haha. I had that experience when I was riding behind a school bus and kids on the backseat was shouting and screaming and pointing at my car. I assume it was them telling their friends "I want this when i grow up" convo. I wasn't sure what they was screaming since the music was loud but its a nice feeling knowing we drive something special.

I actually had this happen at a park. Some kid ran up and said look it's a Lamborgini and then his friend ran up and said no it's a Mustang.

That went from a compliment to an insult very quickly

I love my daughter-in-law dearly, but the other day I heard her on the phone talking to one of her friends. "Grandpa got a new car! Yeah, I think it's a Charger...."

We call it the lost generation. They can spot/name a phone at a distance. Cannot tell you what a hot car is standing right in front of it.

Friend of mine was working on a friends older Vett. Teens watching said hey is that a bmw , Ferrari? And from what we see around here, drive anything with a radio and never wash much less detail. Real sad.

LOL...... I was having some landscaping done at my house a few weeks ago. The one landscaper said to me, "Man, Chrysler has done an amazing job on those Hellcats". I said it was a Camaro........ He said, "Well Chrysler sure makes nice Camaros"................ He had good intentions though......

I still like the 5th gen front end (specifically the headlights) now the 6th gen front looks like many cars. (not saying it doesn't look cool, just not so much Camaro)

The Hyper Blue Metallic really draws attention...though few know cars well enough to tell a Camaro from a Mustang or Challenger.

Take off the back Bowtie and watch all the drivers catch up to you to see what kind of a car it is.... Especially with the dark taillights and darkened 3rd brake light.
