Optimal lap was a 1:43.92 I got hung up by another car from 5-8, that's where the Catalyst said I lost the time. Tires were done by the end of the day, this lap was heat cycle #19 or 20.
Can you give us some proof. Video, Transponder pic, screenshot of time, PDR, etc.? I've added the time, just trying to keep it consistent per the first post.

No problem. (I guess I should have carefully read the first post!)

Thanks.

How did you like these compared to the 3R? I tried the Trofeo RS and they were great, but wear pattern was funky and they didn't last very long. For the price they were asking I went to the 3R and was significantly faster ands the 3r have already lasted as long and have maybe another 2 days left on them.

O, and updated the list...

I’m not sure I’m a great barometer as I’m pretty new at this whole thing.

Having said that, I brought these tires to Barber to get a heat cycle in them before going to COTA next month. It was cold and overcast, probably not ideal conditions. I didn’t feel like I was pushing too hard, in fact I really only got on it for a lap or two then did a slow lap to end my session. They did feel like they had an insane amount of grip compared to the 3R. (The set of 3R I ran the rest of the weekend have about 25 heat cycles in them, they are a bit slippery)

Yes, they are very spendy. I really only got them for COTA sort of for “fun” to see what difference a set of “slicks” would make. (I got 6 305/30/19 so I could also run a square set). As for longevity, I’ll let yall know after Valentine’s Day weekend.

I did have some slip on my LF. That white dot used to mark the valve stem. Interestingly, the RF barely moved at all. Both rears look to have slipped just a bit, but not as much as in this pic.

I'll check back after Valentines day! Curious if you know, does the SM10 have knurled beading for the tire like the VS5-RS does?

I called Apex to ask about this before buying a used set of flow formed SM-10 wheels last year and they do not have the knurled bead seat. Seller said he didn't experience super 200 tires slipping on the wheels on his Camaro but YMMV; I haven't used them yet myself.

I've read using hairspray or very minimal lube when mounting the tires can prevent slipping. Some people also suggest balancing the wheels without tires and living with any imbalance from individual tires.

Yes, the SM-10RS does have paintless knurled bead. I don’t think the flow formed model does. (I have two sets of them and don’t remember it being there)
