Yeah mine has bounced through all the 4000 codes.

4200 to 4300 to 4B00 to 4000. I have been checking like every 3-4 days so, I have no idea how many changes took place.

You will have a pretty good idea when your dealer prints out the Order Event History for you. It truly is eye opening.

This roller coaster ride is worth doing once so you know what you are missing when you do not do it again.

I've been checking my dealer's website and my car is now showing on there with a stock photo and says "In Transit". I'm still at 4300 so it's going to be a while....

UPDATE: all 3 of my Dealer's orders are at the railyard in Mesquite, TX as of this morning. Should be picking it up tomorrow. Maybe even today. Means other 11/09rs should be moving along!

I called the dealer and got no info. Annoying as hell. Was GM trained by the cable companies for customer service?

I'm either 4B00 or 4300. My dealer said it was getting ready to be loaded on a train a week and a half ago. A week ago, Chevy chat (a rare and helpful one) gave me a detailed update that it had been unloaded from train at a distribution center. I definitely want this wait to be over.

I talked to a "manager" at the dealership and he tried to tell me at first mine hadn't been produced yet. I actually raised my voice (on the phone) and said, "That is ridiculous. It was built on the ninth!" I then went through the steps it had already been through. He then said that all the cars were in a QC hold. I then explained that several built at the same time as mine were delivered. He then told me he would have my salesman look into it tomorrow. (my salesman is on vacation) GM's tracking system is bassackward. It is stupid. It is vague. It is meant to keep folks in the dark. It has taken the joy out of this car for a lot of people. I wasn't ticked off until today. I felt for those that had their cars built weeks before mine and never moved. But the fact that the average "customer service" person at GM doesn't give two sh1ts pisses me off. Get the damn cars moving. Get some to the west coast. Get the people that ORDERED cars their cars. Maybe this is why they had to be bailed out. Just sayin.
