I did a search on my dealer's website and it shows only one 2016 Camaro, and it's mine. Of course it says it's in transit just like Becky said it would since they use 3rd party vendors to do their website.

That's where I think laborsmith kinda touched on my own theory after seeing it somewhere few days ago...

This message is in regards to your request for a shipping status update for a 2016 Camaro, VIN 1G1FG1R73G0117926. As of 11/10, the unit is undergoing a quality inspection, which many new model year units are going through. There is no ETA for when the unit will be released to the carrier, however, the unit will have shipping priority when it is released. I will schedule another email on 11/25 to keep you updated with the case

Week before the 10th my car did the random delivery bayed delivery QC BS. 16 days my car has sat at 4300 kinda hard to believe it has did nothing for that long, unless! They are undermanned that's my only opinion. Anyway Happy Thanksgiving! Hope we see more cars in driveways next week.

Dealer emailed me. As of this morning, my car is on a railcar in Illinois! Should see it next week!

According to Chevy chat, mine got unloaded from railcar at distro center, trying to get more info from my dealer.

Depending on who you get in chevy chat depends on the answer you will get. I have had someone detailed explain what last status and location of vehicle and iv had some say they can't help to call the dealer.

That is why it is essential to get Chevy to assign one or two of their Chat staff to the new Camaro. By the way, Chevy Chat, Chevrolet Customer Service and Chevy Customer Care all appear to be staffed by the same two dozen people.

True that. I've received some helpful, and some average help, depends on who picks up.

My dealer also just emailed me my window sticker. Said it came in the mail this morning. Awesome!

I chatted with Chevy customer service today. They said my order was at 4000 status.

4000 - Vehicle Available to Ship

I assume that is good news. Haven't seen anyone else get that code. I'm planning to check with Becky again tomorrow. See what kind of update happens tonight.

FYI. I went 4000, to 4B00 the next day. Mine is supposedly enroute. This has all been w/in the past 2wks- see sig. So its a good sign.
