Isn't borla midpipe 3" to 2.25"?
2.5, the borla midpip and hooker axle back systems will work together

The borla will actually work with everyones axle-back right now. MRT, Hooker, Flowmaster.

I'll most likely get the borla mid pipes and hooker axle back mufflers with a electric cutout after the downpipe. Still haven't decided which downpipe tho. ZZP performance most likely

@Holly

Was just wondering how long each system was on the car for before and after testing?(approximately how many test miles were logged?)

Also, I believe the dyno charts display this... But for clarification these various exhaust designs were tested with no other modifications in place (no downpipes, tunes ect) correct?

One more... Were, by chance, boost levels monitored during dyno testing? If so would you mind sharing what the peak boost was in relation to the posted catback dyno charts?

Thanks guys! Please don't think I'm nit picking, just trying to educate myself up a bit

Hi Corner Carver,

Was just wondering how long each system was on the car for before and after testing?(approximately how many test miles were logged?)
Axle-backs & cat-backs depend on where the air/fuel is when we first install the change. If the long term fuel is not stable, we will continue to put miles until the long term fuel becomes stable, THEN, we dyno to ensure the results are accurate and the fuel trims adjusted to the change. This is hard to give a general answer but specifically to the 2.0L (t), we put about 70-100 miles for the axle-backs and cat-backs.

For the down-pipe with cats, the mileage is different because once we verify air/fuel stability and after dyno results, we will put anywhere from 600-800 miles to ensure we log miles and multiple key cycles to ensure the new high-flow cat WILL NOT emit a check engine light. With the 2.0L (t), we actually logged over 1100 miles.

Also, I believe the dyno charts display this... But for clarification these various exhaust designs were tested with no other modifications in place (no downpipes, tunes ect) correct?
Yes, we dyno each part independently, no tune and no other modifications

One more... Were, by chance, boost levels monitored during dyno testing? If so would you mind sharing what the peak boost was in relation to the posted catback dyno charts?
Boost levels were not monitored since we do not alter the tune, we test everything using the OE base.

These are great questions, hope I was able to help out.

Next question.... do you have timeline on the launch of the downpipe?

Awesomeness! Thanks for the detailed responses, I think we all appreciate the transparency.

Looking forward to future releases
