The 1LE will have a different ECU tune than the standard SS. Any variations like speedometer, PTM, traction control, eLSD, etc. will all be changed for the 1LE. The speedometer isn't set by GPS.

Bypassing the muffler can easily add 5 horsepower or so on a 455 horsepower engine. I gained 7 horsepower on my Mustang at the wheels just by doing a muffler/resonator swap. Is this always the case, of course not...but definitely feasible.

On certain cars, if tuned, there are definitely gains to be had. Depends on the cars airbox design. Gains will be small though...

Nah, still the 1LE for me. The ZL1 is cool, but I'd just look at a C7 if I was spending over $50k on a Camaro.

I wonder if anyone asked about the 1le at the end of the presentation.

Also watching the 1le videos I can't seem to find what they are going to remove with the 1le, obv the LT4 but it has the same tire setup,diffrent cooling setup ..the recaros lool really good.

The new ZL1 is really nice both aesthetically and performance wise but I still prefer the 1LE. It seems it's the 2SS version that people have been asking for. There's definitely more of a distinction between the two now.

I still have not heard word back. At this point I'm not holding out much hope. Maybe they had to put a hold on any new info. If at some point I DO hear back, I will be sure to let you all know.

On a side note, I'm about 90% sure they shot those press photos at NOLA down in New Orleans. I'm heading down there in a couple weeks, so I will find out for sure.

It's still 1LE for me. Can't spend 60+K on a car this time around. Only thing I wish the 1LE had was a few of the nicer interior touches. That's my only gripe.

That an an automatic option & I would've canceled my 2SS order.

Best options in price/options:

Automatic = 2SS
Manny = 1LE
Big baller = ZL1
