That sounds great keko. Good exhaust combination, nice deep tone. I like it

Another thread reminded me I need a trunk liner. Was gonna order a smart liner as it was $70 with good reviews but checked eBay before buying.

Found the 3D MaxPider one for $80 brand new open box. Looks great!

Quick update. All that fluttering noise that I was hearing was due to a loose clamp where the passenger cat mates up to the header. Exhaust is nice and tight now. Now sounds like it should

Nice, I like them. Did the chrome rims too, on the OEM rims.

Moved my subwoofer amp to the trunk floor. Put rubber spacers under the MDF base, fastened to the existing studs on the floor, and put rubber spacers under the amp as well. It's a bit of a tight fit with the LOC - I'll probably replace with a smaller amp eventually. I upgraded the power & ground wiring to OFC, and will replace the RCA cables with appropriately sized cable, and upgrade the speaker wire to 12-ga OFC as well. And I'll clean up the wiring too. But I like it so far. Better than having it take up space in the trunk.

Regarding the CARB sticker for the CAI on the post above. I'm curious... For those in the know, do the smog techs actually check the number to see if it matches like the year for the car, etc? I'd like to get the CAI intake however the available CARB cert is for the prior year and wondering if I could get away with it. I think the cert is for 2020 6.2 and I have 2021.

Just depends if the shop you go to does any funny business or not. Most places I've been to they take it seriously as there can be massive fines for mucking with smog results. Even then, they are usually helpful to get you passed legally.

It takes like 15 mins to swap intakes for a smog. Easiest path to take out here in cali, imo.

The cert in the picture is the newest revised number for the later years.

84134250 is the original. I have both. DM if interested.

State Ref is the only one who will hassle. Most CHP and local SO on the side of the road or highway will google the number and see what intake pops up.

Regular Smog Shops will need to see a sticker. If the CAI matches up to the cert number that's 50 state approved you'll pass the visual. Dealerships were installing these still without tunes until their supply's ran out even on 2022's and early 2023's
