Put the 1LE away for the long winter's sleep. And swapped the all-season tires on the Gen5 DD. Only 4.5-ish months to go

It most definitely was!

And just the stock SS staggered size 245 front 275 rear with track alignment from the Track Preparation guide.

Ooooh jealous of the Car Capsule. I want me one of those for in my car port. No more worrying about mice, residual air moisture, all that.

Dunno what they cost, but I don't care, that's a good investment that works in a whole lot of spaces for winter time.

Edit: Holy Moley, the regular outdoor one is very reasonable!

Color me blunt, but what did you mean exactly? The intake manifold, or the Roto-Fab intake, or...?

I removed the engine cover and fuel rail covers. I wanted to make the engine bay look a little more aggressive.

Gotcha, it does look more sinister overall
...but if you installed a nice Maggie 2650 on top of that LT1, now that's what I'd call reeeally sinister

You're not wrong
I'm a little undecided as to my next phase. Still a toss up between going with a Maggie or staying na. Although I am leaning towards na, MSD with a 103tb and then heads and cam.

In case you are concerned about feel, a PD supercharger like the one I suggested feels almost exactly the same as NA from the point boost kicks in (at 100%).

My car runs as if it had a 10-liter NA engine, the supercharger hardly even whines (at 10-10.5 psi of boost from my pulley setup), which is much to my liking btw. The only difference in linearity is the switch from bypass to boost.

Thank you for the good advice as always arpad_m. It is always welcomed. I'm still about 6 months sway from pulling the trigger. Cost will also play a part here, because as you well know, things will add up really quickly. Another question that I need to ask myself is how much rwhp do I really need or want? Realistically, as it stands right now, I'd probably be ok with 550 to 575.

Realistically, if I want to be completely honest, no, you don't need more than that.

When I was at 560, the car was already very quick. Now, however, it's more of a monster that no longer runs out of steam at around 110 mph and demands respect 100% of the time. So does one need 730-740 or more? No, but it's fun

One more thing, my power level is probably the top end of (or a bit beyond) what you can put down in a RWD car with "normal" tires. What I mean by that is tires that can be used in any weather you'd want to drive a Camaro, temps ranging from 35-40 to 100-105 degrees, dry or wet or downpour, which I'm sure you also get a fair share of in South Florida.

I run Michelin PS4S, others swear on the Conti ExtremeContact Sport 02, both excellent choices that can do all of that. My meaty 315/30 rears can hook from a 20-25 roll and then the car pulls like there's no tomorrow. Not from a dig, but that ship has probably sailed for you as well.

Any more than this much power, and you're in drag radial territory with serious compromises.
