Finally bought a Sto n Sho front plate holder. I've been driving the car over a year without the front plate (No tickets yet) and I think that's enough time to tempt fate.

Wow, Arpad. That's an incredible looking car. Beautiful work.

Thank you, Richard She is looking new again, or even better, and has more protection. Sure, there are a few small "battle scars" that can't be fixed or hidden, but I've embraced them, after all, this car is 6 1/2 years old.

Here are two closeups of the Panther badge if someone is considering it for their ride.

Detailed it yesterday.

I got a new wheel barrel brush that works better than anything else I've used with tight spaces. It also came with a nifty lug hole sponge/cleaning attachment which is awesome.

Looking good!! .Nothing quite like a nice, clean and shiny Black Camaro, is there GearheadSS??? (even IF it only stays that way for 10 minutes! ). Still wouldn't change colors though!

Cleaned off the bugs, which had baking for almost a week in the hot sun. Superior Products Dark Fury works great.

Agreed! It's definitely a bitch, but it's so worth it when she's shiny and clean. The lines of this car also just look so good in Black.

Speaking of keeping clean, I cleaned the alcantara steering wheel and shifter today... I'm embarrassed at what came out! I swear I'm not a sweaty brute (Probably denial by the looks of it..). I end up cleaning it twice over a year period, with about 6,000km of driving for each

That was clear water before I wiped off all the Sonax and dirt it picked up. Clean your steering wheels, folks!

After It's dry I brush it with my natural bristle brush and it looks and feels like new again. The softness after a clean makes the pain in the ass upkeep also worth it (sounds kind of familiar...)

End result (yup, it's a steering wheel, but.. I think you can tell it looks clean?)

Ha, same. I went to Tampa this weekend and the drive back left the entire forward facing parts full of bugs. They were only on the bumper overnight so they cleaned right up in the morning.

Do you have a link of the product(s), type(brand) of brush etc.. you used as well as step by step instructions for cleaning it? I'd like to file it away for when it's time to do mine.

Sure!

Need:
Sonax

Brush: Not quite my brush but pretty darn close

Small micro fiber towels

Instructions:
-Squirt one or two squirts of Sonax on one of the towels. Rub across the steering wheel, spreading evenly(It's a foam, so fairly easy). Apply enough to slightly wet the areas, especially those where your hands end up the most. Does not need to be soaking wet!! Apply more Sonax to the towel as needed to cover all the areas you want to clean, including shifter.
-Let sit for at least 15 minutes (I let mine sit more like 20-30 mins)
-Grab a new towel and a small bucket with clean, warmish water. Wet the towel(wring out) and start gently wiping a small portion of the wheel. You'll notice grime picking up onto the towel. Rinse the towel, wring out, and repeat the same area until you no longer see grime lifting. Move onto the next area and repeat the process.
-Grab another, dry towel and squeeze the steering wheel all around to suck up any remaining moisture.
-(Optional) I'm sure you could use a hair dryer on low heat to help dry.
-Once dry, use the brush to "puff up" the fabric. Swipe across the fabric in different directions until you find the direction that it "sticks up" the most. Repeat that direction for the piece of fabric. Each different piece of fabric can change what direction you need to brush.

That's about it
