Non-Res Touring is my favorite. Pure magic. You wont miss the NPP valves.

No experience with Borla, other than a co-worker who has it on his Challenger SCAT Pack.
However, I do have experience with the AWE Non - Resonated Touring CAT back exhaust.
I installed this system with my Kooks headers on Thanksgiving weekend of 2019, and although the two does not hook up, I was able to connect them with the help of a welder.
The sound is unbelievable...no wait, it's believable because you cannot deny the sound!
People that hear it for the first time always ask me the same question...what did I do to the car to make it sound like that?
What kind of engine do you have?
I thought it was a Z06 when I heard you start it!
Your car sounds Awesome...my reply to this one is...how did you know it was an Awe system...LOL!

At start up it will be very loud...louder than I expected.
At cruising a little louder than OEM, but not by much.
At WOT...it just SCREAMS!
Oh and in comparison to my co-workers Borla, it's much louder, then again it's not the same car/motor/set-up. He does not have headers either.

I installed the AWE touring axleback on my 16 SS/m6 just this afternoon. OMG, I LOVE it!!!!!!! Idle is a little better, little deeper, little louder than stock, but it gets exponentially louder with RPMs!!! ....I think there's a bigger decibel difference between the AWE idle and WOT than the stock NPP! -which is what I wanted. ...and of course, no drone.



Awesome.
