I really don't wanna wait that long. I finally got my cable today and sent the code a bit ago. Really not looking forward to waiting another week.

Now I know I am screwed! Wasnt this the point of paying $200 extra for the Elite tune? WTF?

I don't think you're screwed. I have the GMPP CAI as well and I have been talking to them about a tune as well. I don't think they've written the elite tune for someone who had the CAI installed by GM. They'll get it done, they have great reviews and they do respond quickly. Probably slammed with their big sale they had.

The TRIFECTA Elite Powertrain Calibration for the 6th Generation MY2016--2018+ Chevrolet Camaro offers premium tier-1 support. With this product, customers can request specific calibration changes and support for third party hardware. Remote-tuning services are offered with this tier.
This isn't necessarily stating that they will be able to resolve all third party issues, it's only stating that the option of requesting these changes / calibrations are available - but there's no disclaimer stating that they will be able to actually suit the requests.

That stated though, I think that the issue is mainly that they are unsure if your car is already tuned or not and that is a determining factor as to how they construct you tune from that point, that or they don't have a copy of the new GMPP tune and are unsure how to tune your vehicle from here.. hopefully this gets resolved for you though.

it probably means they will need to pull your tune and be much more interactive with you as they do not have the baseline of a car with the gmpp calibration.

when they provide you with your trifecta tune, it comes with the stock tune embedded. So you can revert. If they give you their tune they have now, you would revert back to a tune that did not have the gmpp calibration. which isn't a very good customer experience.

That's my guess anyway.

These tunes were basically created and set well over a year ago, long before the gmpp intake came out. But once they work out yours, you should be good. Mine's been great for like the year and a half i've had it.

Loaded my tune and I am one happy guy. Feel stronger mostly at higher RPMs. Throttle is more responsive and shift points are much improved. Advise for newbies, the load takes about 20 minutes to complete. Be sure you hold your engine start button for about 10 seconds to keep the power on during the flash. Otherwise you will error out time and time again. You will know the power is on when the gauges all come on.

Just loaded the tune yesterday, and I immediately felt a difference. The shift points are much better now. Combined with my bolt ons it feels less restricted. I even took my dad for a spin and he giggled like he was my age again when I got on it for a second lol. The Select A AFM feature is really cool too. Now the throttle feels responsive when I accelerate (a much needed and welcomed addition).

All in all very happy with Trifecta and their service staff (even being slammed with Black Friday orders. That deal was pretty amazing in itself btw).
