Had to update a few things. I think they are in good shape but if anyone finds anything wrong let me know. I'm going to try to make it more automated so that there are less manual updates every month. Right now I have to add the numbers and go through and update a lot of the ranges for the different charts. Hopefully I will have some time to play with it so that when I add in the sales numbers all the charts just update.

will be interesting to see if people hold back for the Mustang Facelift or the controversial design will sell differently than the current Mustang. Nevertheless it's nice to see that the Camaro is having a pretty good year atm

I read that now Ford and FCA are following GM's lead and reducing wholesale fleet transactions.

I'll bet that's what dropped Challenger numbers recently.

I remember back when the new 5.0 and 3.7 engines were introduced (2011?). Mustang fans predicted that sales of the Mustang would bury the Camaro.

Mustang sales did skyrocket, but looking closer at the sales numbers at the time, they skyrocketed because of fire sales on the outgoing model.

Sales numbers quickly went back to "normal". Camaro went back to outselling the Mustang. The new, improved engines really didn't help sales of the Mustang.

Members of Mustang6g.com have been very vocal about the new styling (mostly say it is not good). Will the mechanical additions/improvements and resulting sales increase affect the Mustang positively ? Stay tuned.

@ detltu,

Do you have the figures of November?

I don't know how 6th gen owners can feel proud of these sales figures. In comparision to what...a 4 year old platform that just received its midcycle update or a 10 year platform that dates back even earlier.

Just more evidence that the 6th gen is a sales disapointment. Hopefully, the 7th gen will knock it out of the park like the 5th gen did back in '10.

There is much to celebrate with the 6th gen. Chevy raised the performance bar and priced it accordingly. People are noticing (below).

Retail sales leader. World class performance. Shared platform so it doesn't have to carry the entirety of the platform volume. Chevy has accomplished a lot in my opinion. Roll that into the 7th gen with fresh styling that abandons the 5th gen cues

Camaro makes Car and Driver 10 Best List for third consecutive year!

...Camaro will demolish your preconceptions, one corner at a time.

...About that chassis. It’s one of the best in the world, with the kind of preternaturally intuitive steering, faultless brakes, and overall balance you’d expect from a Porsche.

...The ZL1 is a supercar that just happens to look like a Camaro.

A reputation is a hard thing to live down. Perception often lags reality, and the reality is this: Camaros are among the most sophisticated driver’s cars in the world. And three consecutive years on the 10Best Cars list proves that this Chevy isn’t just great at attacking a corner, it has also turned one.

Last I remember seeing for November, I think the Mustang sold ~6700 and the camaro only sold ~4700.

I see a lot of women driving the mustang (especially the vert) but not so much the Camaro.

It wasn't that long ago that the 4th gen F-body shared those same performance and price attributes and look what happened after '02.

Unless GM fixes the major design flaw on Alpha, they will be in the same position they are in now. A car that's even more impractical than before. Even the design engineer's noted that the rear seat bulkhead is placed too far forward than optimal in the chassis.

They got the performance dialed in, that's for sure. However, they need to get the styling on target. Yes, the 7th gen needs to go in a totally new design direction than what the 5th/6th gen established.
