vmp performance took their a10 18 3:15 geared car to the track on drag radials,it went 12.37@116 mph,in other words multiple shops with record holder cars and drivers cant get the thing into the 11's unless its modded and on a dragpack.this car still hasnt impressed me compared to the ss a8 cars.

If this gets some steam, I'll be there running 11.0's hopefully a 10.99 if the stars align right. I'm fbo/E85 now.

its on vmp performance facebook page,i cant link it while im at work.1.9 60ft best ive seen on a radial is a 1.8 so cant blame that, not sure on da was around+800-1000 depending on time of run from what i can see on a da calculator.really not impressive for me,this car needs the pp 3:55 gear to run 11's and it just barely managed that from lmr, anyone who orders a 3:15 car is gonna be disappointed, both 3:15 cars have been 12.3 and one was modded(beefcakes).

First 2 were on stock tire 12.6@117 with a 2.1 60 than a 12.5@ 116 with a 2.0 60 Than they swapped to drag radials and ran 12.4 @ 116 with a 1.9 60 and a 12.3 @ 116 with a 1.9 60. DA for runs was + 1200 |

which falls in line with had it been a 3:55 car probably wouldve seen a 1.8 60ft and 12.0-12.1,the 3:55 is the way to go in this car for sure, but its still nothing impressive like the ford guys thought it was gonna be,its even less impressive if you're one of those it makes 500 crank hp believing morons on the mustang forum lol

This as well
https://youtu.be/d3xHBa17uLQ Seems to be some variations on the trap speeds. Wonder what ratio the ones running @119 have. Last edited by Mazman; 11-30-2017 at 10:26 AM. |

The 3:15s are not enough gear for this car if you are looking for strip use. Surely not in a car that is not strong down in the lower rpms. My Boss has 3:73s and pulls real hard, would have been nice to see this as an option for the 18 GT.

I use any forum for research, no "troll" here, heck I can't even find any SS Camaro's to "Run thru the twisty's" with, not against. My 16 GT has 3.55:1 w/auto and the paddles are where it's at for these R/T ponies. Nedd more suspension upgrades to go Drag, which I am not a fan, enjoy watching NHRA & IMSA though. I've twice met a guy with a ZL1 white and we get along fine just never got to run thru the twisty's with the guy. Were are not all trolls or asshats.

Precisely. With equal starts the Camaro wins both with a steady pull.
