All prices below are "Street prices" - IE what you can buy it for on average, maybe more or less

-ECS1500 kit $5500 (i think it's like 5200 for Black Friday/this week) - I like ECS because of the exceptional customer service but pick your poison - I like this kit because the novi 1500 blower supports up to 900whp so you don't need to buy a headunit upgrade like you do with a procharger. And I tend to favor centri over PD - but that's a whole other argument
-BTR cam kit (stage 2 cam with 38% lobe or a custom one) with DOD/AFM Delete and install kit - $1300ish - if you want fancy shit like all ARP/Katech stuff or whatever call it $1800
-LT4 pump $685 (don't pay more... go look at rockauto or google it... ACDelco HPM1036 is the par# you want... and if you use the Delco part number it's cheaper)
-LT4 injectors - again, search part numbers, this should cost no more than $600
-2in headers/catless xpipe - I paid less than $1k new for this setup from a well known dealer and can easily recommend who that is via PM. I got Kooks but ARH, or SW is fine too.

This is roughly $9500 in parts - and should get you to 750whp or so, maybe a little more - Add a Meth kit for your last 50whp for $750 or whatever... Call it $10.5k

C5Z replica 18x10.5s will fit over 1LE/ZL1 brakes with a 3mm spacer (no spacer needed for non BIG brake cars) and you can fit 315/35-18 Toyo TQs or similar on them - $750 ish for a drag pack

I'd leave the catback stock since it's already 2.75 (especially if you have NPP) - you won't need the intake with the blower kit so you can sell that.

You got $9k leftover for install

If you are talking 800 crank HP, thats a cake walk...

If you wanted to do it on the crazy cheap,

1) ProCharger P1X kit, stage 2 intercooler,
2) Something like a BTR Stage 2 cam,
3) Meth kit of choice.

Done and done...

I have made an easy 770rwhp with that combo not even trying.
And with more blower like a D1X I have seen 933 rwhp now made.

going a little off topic but need some facts. With the BTR stage 2 cam would I need a different converter since i'm A8? Also, does anyone know all the necessary components needed for a cam swap? How many LS7 lifters do I need? Do I need to purchase ARP head bolt or stud kit? Want to get all that I need when ordering but want to get the right stuff

A shop, or BTR could get you that quote of whats all needed.

I have tuned/driven cars with stalls and no stalls with that cam, no issues.
I am not a big fan of stalls on daily driven cars, not for any reason other then I just really enjoy the tight factory converters. (Im weird I know)

Either way you will enjoy it.

Ya except you need to upgrade a lot of other components for a "1500" to do 900whp consistently (BOV/Intercooler/ETC). Have yet to see that headunit make that much power in a Gen 6 as well.

Do I have to go into the motor or do fueling upgrades if I go this route? What did you on the builds yoU did with the p1x?

Anything over 550-575whp you need a fuel lobe
Once you have the fuel lobe, anything over 650ish you'll need a pump/injectors and that'll get you to 750ish... beyond that... add methanol or break out some BIG CASH for Lingenfelter injectors/hpfp or similar

I wouldn't go above 650ishwhp on the stock pistons. Some have done it, and others have met the limits. I'm close and already making plans to tear the motor apart or replace the shortblock.

If you're pulling the entire slug you might as well do the rods (why not)

Rods, pistons, lt4 fuel, cam, meth, and blower of choice (I'd say PC D1X and be done but p1X will get close) you'll get there.

I wouldn't do just the cam and crank it up to 800. Not unless you want an excuse to buy a shortblock :P
