If you can, clear bra the lower 1/4 panel.. the small factory one from GM is not enough.. Don't ask me how I know lol

That's a good point. I'm definitely going to look into it.

Thank you. The garage has been a long time planning and saving $$. We had it built when the house was built 14 years ago. This is what it looked like in August.

Congrats and an awesome job on detailing et al. My fanatic waxer friend would approve for sure
Now, why is it that it is only your wife working on the car in the pix? LOL!
But seriously, put 3M type of material as recommended previously, as especially rear qtr panels get tons of rubber on them during track outings. You will track the car - correct?

You're welcome. Similar type threads helped me as well. Also helped me decide to spend more $$ on mods.

Lol! She does enjoy it and sometimes I'm just getting in the way!

I have been researching what the options are in my area. The local SCCA has a lot of auto-x events in the warmer months there is a pdx club at Gateway Racway where it is on the track, not just a parking lot.

I have a lot of drag racing experience, but this will be a whole new deal to me. The more I drive this car, the more impressed I am with the handling capabilities. In my area there are country roads with a lot of curves and hills. Put 50 solo miles on the car yesterday afternoon and got to begin pushing the capabilities a bit. Wow, I am so happy I went with the 1LE!

It is great when a couple can share a passion!
Yep, 1LE is one amazing car right out of a box save for high temp brake fluid - that's how I run mine.

If I may: check the manual for break in instructions: important chiefly for the e-diff.

Motorsportreg.com is a good source to see what orgs run what events at your track venues. PCA and BMW Clubs usually run great HPDE events, but other options exist I am sure.

Congrats and enjoy! PS your garage is truly amazing - bravo!

I have to ask, where did you find the suede knee pads? That might be a must for me.

Thanks for the compliments.

I reviewed the owners manual and HP supplement and did not find specific instructions on the eLSD break in. Where is that or what do you recommend? I will be changing oil, trans and diff fluids at 500 miles (almost there) just as a precaution and excuse to use my new lift!
