Hey guys! I hope everyone is well... Been awhile since I posted, but I log in and read everyone's posts every few days. Couple questions about lighting:

1) I bought my F1FTY off the dealer lot (in April) and knew nothing about some of the small GM-available options at the time (black bowties, footwell lighting, etc) so I didn't get any of that thrown into the deal. I love the idea of footwell lighting, but I am wondering if the GM kit synchronizes the color with the built-in accent illumination? Also - is this the proper kit that would do that - https://www.thatgmpartsguy.com/oem-p...ting-23248208?

2) Also, for side markers... Oracle or Diode Dynamics? So much discussion about this over the last year (and beyond), but I am just unsure. I prefer the ones that look like thin-laser beams - either smoked or body color. Seems like both companies offer this type of option.

My footwell lighting stays white and comes on when I open the door.

As for side markers, my preference is Diode Dynamics. To me, the front is just more orange.

Hey, what brushes do you guys use on the 50 wheels? The little crevices are a giant pain to get clean on the wheels.

1a) The footwell lighting kit add-on does sync to the accent lighting that is changed from the MyLink. So orange accents, orange footwell. It’s not super bright but it’s nice and love it on mine.

1b) And yup, 23248208 is the correct part number.

2) Diode Dynamics is what is on mine. The build quality and warranty from Diode is MUCH better than Oracle. The advantage to Oracle is they have paint matched as an option. Diode only has (stock, clear, smoked). Smoked looks awesome on our cars.

I use the Adams Polishes wheel brush. I like it a lot

I agree 100% with Adam. Diode Dynamics has better build quality and better warranty. I "jumped the gun" to soon and went with the Oracle (also went with the paint matched option). Personally, it was a bad experience ........

Yes their chemicals and shampoos do! Brush smelled rather plasticy hahaha

misterbill77, I went with Diode Dynamics as well. The smoked version goes well with the dark tails and dark CHMSL. Think there’s some posted pics a few pages back.

Just like Adam said, the footwell lights aren’t real bright. Just noticeable. Glad I went with those as well. I really like subtle touches.

BTW, I need to update my signature photo.

My "winter wheels" arrived today. These were a steal. $329 for the set of 18" LT rims with 10mi on them. They look like new. I'm going to accent them with orange paint matched to the Fifty calipers, then mount a new set of Bridgestone Blizzaks on them. I'll post some pictures of how they come out.
