Had those installed with the nordlock washers. (Would have preferred to keep the old bolt on but that's what the dealership did.) Still clunking...

I was told that there should be a load on these and should be tightened while on a roll on lift. I'm wondering if the techs used a standard lift and tightened them with the wheels hanging. ???

Going to have a few other things checked out and then probably switch to BMR end links.

Then it is something else. Have them check the control and tension arms bolts along with the ball joints.

Eventually going to. I hate dealing with dealerships. They pretty much refuse to do anything without a TSB around here. I could tell them to check it till I'm blue in the face. They won't.

I've filed complaints with GM before up to the corporate level on a different vehicle that had issues. Doesn't help. They side with the dealer.

Hell I went in for the exhaust rattle and they told me "Well it has the rattle but it's not as loud as other rattles so we didn't fix it." I asked the service advisor if the TSB specified a loudness of rattle before it was fixed. "Well, no." Then fix it. "It's not loud enough." I WISH I WAS KIDDING. Different dealerships aren't any different. I've tried. :/ They're all completely incompetent in my area.

People wonder why a lot of us don't trust dealerships. This is a good reason. lol

I've bought the BMR endlinks. Was thinking of removing the OEM endlinks and swaybars for a bit to see if that actually stopped the noise just for proof of if that's the noise or not.

We have an issue with an 11 Camaro not communicating with the Fuel Pump Control Module. GR Chevrolet loans us their Lead Tech to help us trouble shoot odd ball issues. Brian is here now.

We send them warranty work. We send them cars that have gone off course ;-), we help them out with modified vehicles that show up at their shop. In short, we have a fantastic relationship with them. We had the same relationship with Witt Buick back in Michigan.

Long story short, all GM dealers are not the same. Some are pure platinum.

Oh I believe there's great dealerships out there. Unfortunately the ones I've went to never seems to be those when it comes to the Camaros.

Im taking my 2018 ZL1 in for the 4th time for this noise and the clicking when turning. They tole me they tightened it the first time, then ordered the bolts. Then I went back for them to retorque and it made no difference . Now they replacing the end links pn Monday. Im calling the service manager tomorow because I have a feeling they arent actually working on the car. The noise has never gone away. Even after they supposedly retorque.

Take four 12mm Nordlock washers with you and be done with it.

Finally put on BMR end links. We'll see if that solves the issue. If not then it's something else.

The OEM endlinks are not the problem. The problem is the hardware used to attach them.Four Nordloc washers solve the problem.

Pete, I tried that and it still worked itself loose although it did take longer to do so. The factory replacements are starting to rattle after a few hundred miles.

Blue loctite working so far

Guys, forget the dealership. Use loctite or nordlock washers. Trust me. I took mine in twice for this problem and the nuts still came loose. I put loctite on, and it’s worked for the last 3 thousand miles. If they come loose again, i have some 12mm nordlock washers ready :-)

Still some popping up front. However it happens when I roll forward after a speed bump. It's almost like something shifting up front when I roll forward...

It's not the BMR end links. They've been checked a couple of times since. I have nordlocks and loctite on them. They're not loosening up any time soon.

Unfortunately it's something else with my car. I need to go through and have everything else tightened as suggested earlier to me in this thread to see if that clears it up.

I have also had the front fascia taken off and put back on by the dealership when they did a paint fix. There are two mystery bolts that I found afterwards that look like some that should have been holding it on. Maybe that's shifting...? I doubt it but I'm grasping for any explanation.

I've also noticed the passenger side skirt makes a similar noise when I bump it.

So many possibilities..........................

Oh well. It'll get fixed in time. I only drive it once a week currently. Going to bring it back to my friend's shop where I had the end-links installed and let him check over the front end here eventually...

Side note. I did have a strut that wasn't seated properly as well at one point which was causing a similar noise. Just throwing that out there.

Cars are fun.
