When Pontiac closed up I felt sorry for their owners. Luckily GM continues to support. Wonder what happens when Fiat drops Dodge and then goes under, Deloreon?

Did I forget to mention Dodge? Yes
I'm not gonna knock the reports as they do serve a purpose. But at some point you have to take into account what an owner has to say. Or don't, your choice. Maybe you'll never know. But I certainly didn't pay one bit of attention to even one of those reports and I do not regret my purchase one bit. Maybe one day you'll give it a try. If you do then I'm telling you right now that you'll see exactly how wrong you are.

Actually I now drive a 16 Silverado, all the reports and awards are correct, outstanding vehicle and not one issue. Of course that is only my opinion.

Listening to individual owners will only give you insight into their individual experience. That's like saying because a few whites are KKK all whites must be KKK.

I am not Nostrodamus but the Challenger is hanging on to a 2009 chassis, and they just dropped one of the most impressive track cars ever built. Predictions?

No issues other than they are so ugly that you have to sneak up on them to get in.
I won't care if it lasted for ever. I have to at least like what it looks like.

I really hope you are correct, the 5th gen ZL1 platform is bombproof. Perfect platform to build upon. I hope to leave that to one of my kids.

I get compliments all the time. One guy said he was glad they were making them look like trucks again. You should really look into them, I highly recommend.

I have can't stand the looks. Im content with my Fords currently in the truck department. I still have some older generation Chevy trucks ,and yes, they have been verly reliable. I cant say the Fords have been any worse though. Im sure you are going to show me some chart that is supposed to change my mine though.

I am not opposed to Ford, their move to a more track focused and overall better engineered car is great. Chevy has still kept ahead in that department, I am interested to see what the 500 is. It will bet tough to top the ZL1-1LE as a track monster and the Hammer as a 1/4 mile monster.

And have to admit, I like the looks of the new Mustang.

Thanks for the constant laughs!

You don’t own a ZL1, or plan on buying one that’s offered, yet spend a tremendous amount of time on this board discussing them. It’s strange. I would never think to spend time on a mustang or HC board. But it’s a free country so comment away!

Before I bought my Hellcat I spent over a year on those boards. I don't recall anyone citing rules where I had a deadline to buy one.

I spent two years on the Beneteau boards talking with owners before buying my sailboat. No one bothered me about not owning one yet. I did buy one in the end.

I'm planning to buy a ZL1 and perhaps a ZL1 1LE. I'm not ready because the refresh is around the corner and I already have a fun car, so no huge rush. I recently drove a new ZL1 on Angeles Crest, so I know that this is the sort of handling I'm after.

So what's the problem?

I'm pretty much a fan of Ford, Chevy, Dodge, Porsche, Lambo, Tesla...all amazing tech and design efforts that appeal to people for different reasons. You've got some trolls here; folks who really just want to bash cars and pump up what they own.

Did anyone here notice the Tesla announcement? 0-60 in 1.9 seconds for the BASE car. Top speed over 250 MPH and 600 mile range. The reaction from enthusiasts is WOW! The reaction from trolls is bashing Tesla. Some goofball bashing Dodge because he's threatened by the Dodge Demon's popularity is more of the same. What's worse is that he has ZERO education beyond what he wants to believe.

If you have not woken up to the point that fossil fueled cars are going to be replaced you are a dinosaur, but riding out on the most badass dinasaur is what is fun.
