Yet you still go off on rants about reliability. If any of what you said was true then you would have never bought a Camaro considering the safety ratings and the poor results they have in crash testing. Or is that ok but you draw the line at "reliability"? I take it that it isn't about the consumer reports you allegedly read and you're just hating on it because it isn't Chevy and you're using the reports as an excuse. Nice try. There are literally 3 people here, 2 of whom actually own a Hellcat (one being myself) who have told you constantly that you're wrong. Yet you steadfastly and stubbornly choose to cling to your ill-conceived reservations. You can literally go to any track, any car meet, or join a forum or FB group and discuss it with owners but you won't. So any further discussion with you is just chasing wind. Think what you want.

And for the record, Dodge has several vehicles. Even if they are at the bottom it could be possible that some of the other lower level vehicles are not dependable while the more expensive vehicles like the Hellcat and Demon are built a little better. Dodge is not going to put a vehicle as expensive as the Hellcat and Demon out there and build it to fall apart. Do you really think they would? But again, think what you want.

Sell more Vipers? How do you sell what you no longer make?

Because you have not submitted any thing other than Joe Bob said so. Do you want to address your safety statement about my Camaro? It obvious you can only regurgitate what the hell cat forum tells you to. I have had a subscription to consumer reports for the last twenty years, so yes I do use it, but JD Power is better on cars.

So you're just regurgitating what you think you read somewhere. I'd rather take the word of an actual owner or actual owners when it comes to reliability. These are people who live with the car day in and day out. I think my real world account of my Hellcat holds more weight than what you have to say. And like I said before, if you were soo concerned about the ratings then you wouldn't even be in a Camaro at all considering that Camaros and Mustangs fail crash tests miserably. Yet here you are.

Please back this up! Because the guys that do the tests disagree with you.

If you were purchasing a washing machine would you purchase the lowest rated washing machine? According to JD Power and consumers report Dodge is the worst for reliability amongst three muscle cars that have similar performance. So why would you want to purchase a car that has the worst reliability? It is also behind in engineering. The current Challenger platform is two years older than the last generation of Camaros, they will be considered antiques before they get a new platform. They already killed the Viper, the writing is on the wall for the Challenger and probably the Dodge brand. If I want to buy a car for the quarter, buy a COPO, track a ZL1-1LE, an all around, the ZL1. Chevy has everything I could want and finely engineered with the correct tires for the application. The Demon is an afterthought and grabbing for it's last hurrah before they go to hell.
I found it interesting that during the hype about Great Wall buying Jeep it was mentioned that Jeep on its own is worth more than FCA as a whole. It's really sad that Chrysler does not appear sustainable.

I agree that in the face of Ford and Chevy releasing their current modern platforms, Dodge did the only thing they could (in 2014) to remain relevant. Upgraded interior and big power.

The Scat Pack doesn't have a power performance advantage over the SS or new GT. The ZL1 provides similar straight line performance as the Hellcat while being able to do so much more for less $$$. Now Chevy has a 755 HP engine that suggests Camaro will see some version of a large displacement blower in the near future. Challenger's only advantage is a bigger back seat that adds +400 lbs to the car. Dodge is at the end of its rope with no cash to move forward.

Yea that was way back in 2012 pal. That was 5 years ago, Here is something a little more recent...

http://www.iihs.org/iihs/news/deskto...of-performance

So unless you plan to stick with 5th Gen Camaros forever then...

Yes and I own a 2013. You said that I would never have bought my Camaro. I published what I based my decision on. Keep up.

If you notice I have not purchased one yet. Still deciding, but so far Chevy is definitely in the lead, waiting to see what Ford delivers and the new ZL1 1/4 mile monster with a VIN, since they already have one without.

Did I forget to mention Dodge? Yes

Keep reading those reports and going off what they tell you and you'll be driving a 2103 Camaro forever. Like I said before, I think the words from actual owners hold much more weight than anything you have to say.
