Carbon Fiber for ZL1 / 1LE

Anderson Composites had a great reception at the SEMA Show with our new ZL1 1LE Carbon Fiber parts in addition to the SS and RS Product Line. We received the prestigious "Golden Ticket" and were able to place the ZL1 1LE into the www.driveusca.com Optima Ultimate Street Car Challenge immediately following the SEMA SHow. The car placed 3rd in its class; a record for a "Golden Ticket" car that did not "qualify" but rather was hand picked into the race. Anderson Composites Carbon fiber is the best looking performance part you can buy that is truly race proven.

Parts are available now at https://andersoncomposites.com/colle...1le-esr8981191 or your favorite dealer.

Love the CF parts! Any thoughts on a ZL1 1LE rear wing? I'm currently considering the CF wickerbill setup you have for the ZL1. Do you have any pics on the car?

WOW! That car looks amazing!

The ZL1 hood on the website looks pretty awesome too. I'd like to buy it, but the disclaimers scare me away.

Quote:
*REQUIRES HOOD PINS FOR SAFETY REASONS
*STRONGLY RECOMMEND THE USE OF A HEAT SHIELD
*ANDERSON COMPOSITES DOES NOT SUGGEST RE-INSTALLING GAS SHOCKS/DAMPERS/STRUTS
May I ask, why not make the hood a simple stock replacement (i.e., okay for gas struts, no concerns for heat, etc.)?

The CTS-V has a full carbon fiber hood, and it seems to work okay.

Please give us a call and we can further explain the context of the disclaimers. 626-333-7024

are you guys considering doing ZL1 specific parts? I'm all in for replacing the factory painted pieces for true carbon pieces. front splitter, rockers, rear valance etc

Yes we are currently offering the hood (all carbon not just the venter), front splitter, intake vents and dive planes in Carbon Fiber rather than the factory plastic. We will be expanding to additional designs in the near future.

I think he meant the regular ZL1. If he didn’t.....that’s what I’m curious about. I’d be interested in a CF version of the splitter and DRL bezels (not 1LE style).

-Are you planning any interior CF parts?

Same here. I hit them up while they were at SEMA. I understand the reasoning behind the disclosures, but they too scared me away. I wanted that replacement Zl1 hood bad too. Was ready to purchase too. But hood pins? smh.

Btw, I'm interested in the splitter too if ya'll have one already made.

I like the look of hood pins personally.....but still can't swing the prices so I guess it doesn't matter.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
Will the dive-planes plug into the OE bezels down low? Or do I need to purchase the CF bezels, too?

Thanks!

Sounds like we need them to offer a Black Friday/ Cyber Monday Sale!

Also curious if you guys considered a CF option for the the side mirrors.

My understanding is that all these parts are OEM replacements, so I could see that being a possibility.
