Muffler delete and borla

Hello Everyone,
I am planning to do some upgrade for car sound and need your advice, I own 17 camarov6 rs 1 lt with npp. AFIK the Borla Atak is the loudest, I also came to know about straight pipe secondary cat delete option. I am from Toronto, Canada and here everything is damn expensive Borla non npp all in with installing is between $1500-$1650 shop to shop and on the other hand straight pipe and muffler delete will cost me between $100-$300 max. So if anyone you did straight pipe or Borla set up would you recommend me doing this setup or just stick to stock.

i hate the sound of straight pipes. It screams hillbilly.

I assume you're fine with ditching npp if you're considering straight pipes. I'd suggest mrt if you dont mind drone. More expensive exhausts than 500 bucks (for axle backs), i'd only consider if they were guaranteed to not have drone and still sound good. I have the MRT v1, it's loud. V2 is louder. You will get drone though but not at highways cruising speeds, only at lower speeds like around residential sections.

If you want to retain npp, your options are limited and probably expensive.

I have Borla but non NPP and I love it. I agree with cellsafemode, I was considering straight pipes until I read up about it on the forums. It's loud, yes, but super obnoxious for a V6. And I've read accounts of people not even wanting to ride in their friends' car with drone lol. Of course, it's all about what you're into though
