I like it! Just you, the car, the track and the time clock. No traffic etc...

It would have been nice to see some overlays on the video. That PDK!

Nice video. I saw your post on Rennlist ref tire size. Did you run those on the new front size set up?

What do you think your time would be at buttonwillow in the ZL1 1LE compared to your Porsche? Will you run the 1LE at Buttonwillow? Thats the video I want to see.....

I think the ZL1 1LE can easily do sub 2 mins with the right tires on.

The ZL1 1LE actually has stiffer suspension and better braking then the GT3RS.

I am even thinking of changing my springs in the GT3RS to stiffer fronts because when hard breaking the car leans forward a lot compared to the Camaro.

Also this was w/Star Mazda turn which adds roughly 6 seconds to time then without.

As far as when I am going back, not sure it is kind of far from me and I don't think the club is going back till next year but I might end up going with another club because it was a pretty fun track, but not sure when though.

The other thing is I am not sure if I want to add a roll bar to the Camaro since I like having back seats for my son, and I feel it is a pretty important safety feature you want for a big track, for an AX you don't really need one.

If i add a roll bar, he won't be able to sit back there anymore, or at least for 3 more years when he becomes legal age to sit up front.

Impressive to see how early you can squeeze the power coming out of off ramp, you have a lot of speed there.

LOL - Torque Wrench alone weighed 15 lbs and would turn the front wheels if someone wasn't holding the brake...

That is all car... If you notice the center dial the TC clicks on about 3 or 4 blinks to help me squeeze it out.

Some people drive this car with ESC and TC off, I like the insurance and it allows me to do things like that without having to worry so much about throttle control.

I assume you can do the same with the ZL1 1LE since it has 6 levels of traction control.

Our club offers track support for the weekend for $150 which includes changing tires, checking tire temps and pressures after each session, keeping your windows clean, making sure your oil is at level, and will even change out your break pads if needed, so I never have to bring my wrench

Can’t speak from experience, but I don’t hear good things about the TC on the 1LE. Porsche has it nailed, great control without robbing too much time. That being said, TC is always good insurance. You don’t see it that much in that configuration, but in CCW configuration (for some reason #14 always has a lot of crashes), you see a lot of crashes coming out of the last corner on the onto the front straight at BW. Many get too greedy on the power and spin acrosss into the wall when they over correct.

Good to know... That was my first time there.

Had the whole weekend to figure out the track, started really slow learning the line first before bringing the heat.
