Just got a killer deal on some Race Stars.. Which tire do you prefer?
Just ordered some new race stars and got a smoking deal. Fixing to order tires. Going the 26" route. Which tires do yall prefer?? Hooisers or mickeys?

Hoosier DR2 if you want the best traction and they are light.

MT ET Street R in 305/45/17. Clears the car, looks sexy, grips hard. Has some wrinkle for a streetable 17 inch tire.

The two suggestions in here 275/40/17 and 315/35/17 both size up to about 25.6 diameter. Are you guys going with a shorter tire on purpose? Would that have a positive effect on times?

Mickey's don't hook like the Hoosiers and are quite a bit heavier.... They are still good though.

The mickey 305/45/17 is a great tire. But I went faster on the shorter Hoosier dr2 315/35/17. It is the fastest tire for a stock converter NA car

I don't doubt it...the Hoosier is probably 10lbs per tire less weight. Then the gearing advantage on top.

Any of you guys lowered? I wonder how the 315 will fit. It is a shorter tire, but I wonder if it would rub in that famous spot
